Three quiet days… Our very kind hostess had not only agreed to our requested discount when we originally booked our room, but when we arrived, she said she wanted to give us the room free of charge for one of the nights because “of all the cycling”.
Charl took my back wheel to Cymot and left it with a young man who said we could only collect it Monday afternoon, an enforced but welcome break.
It rained on Saturday night! Not enough to satisfy anyone, really, but pleasant nonetheless.
