WhatsApp: We're in Bekwai, about 25km shy of our intended destination - some days are like that. We're en route Cape Coast and Ghana's slavery history. We stopped for a lunch of joloff rice, cabbage salad and chicken, sharing a plate. The place was so tiny it had only one table which we shared with a young man. Other than greeting him and asking his permission to sit with him, we did not engage. Despite which he INSISTED on paying for our lunch, a fist held to his chest. "It's from my heart", he said. One of the few attractive small towns we have seen.
