We spent one night more than planned in Cotonou, but managed in our time in the city to secure a transit visa for Burkina Faso, and to get Charl’s derailleur / gear cables and shifter replaced. It also gave us time for good meals at Karim 24, La Brasserie and Livingstone, and two visits to Festival des Glaces for icecream and crepes. The aircon at Festival is set at 28 degrees and makes a welcome change from the humid heat outdoors!
