Rest days, though restful, are not entirely “work” free. Today we sorted and labelled photos, wrote the blog and updated the website, did a load of washing, created GPS maps for the next few days, hunted for cheap accommodation at each of our proposed stops, and shopped for tomorrow’s ride to Citrusdal. But we also watched TV and napped and allowed our bodies to recover.
Charl, who took a walk to the Spar in the morning to buy washing powder, also took some photos of Piketberg, established by the Dutch in 1705-6.
