One of the joys of travel, and one of the potential inconveniences, is that days and dates become irrelevant. We had forgotten all about Easter, so arrived in Windhoek on a Wednesday evening with a long list of things to do, but, as it turned out, very few non-holiday days in which to do them. We did manage to see a dentist and to get my snapped spoke and brake cable repaired. Otherwise we ended doing as little as humanly possible for several days, just keeping ourselves fed, reading, watching movies and chit-chatting to fellow guests.
