WhatsApp: The WAs you received this morning were from yesterday - no coverage. Whenever I feel sorry for myself, I think about the incredible weights both young and old must carry here just to get by. We can put our burdens down when we want. The 71km between Le Saras village (pic is of their morning market) and Dolisie proved exhausting. We spent the day engulfed by beauty, but had to work for it. Glad to be here, but have been told we are too late for dinner. Hope we can get something on the street.
In the end we told our host we were "fatigue" and asked if an omelette was possible, which it proved to be. So we went to bed bathed (the Yasmine Hotel even has hot water) and fed. Will begin for Gabon Tuesday up 250km of dirt road. My favorite (not).
