Today, while I sat in our room updating our blog, Charl braved China on his own, returning to Suzhou by fast train to collect our passports and extended visas, and returning after dark. A long day for him, but I had beer and a takeaway dinner awaiting his return... And we are both happy to have our passports back and our longer stay in China confirmed and official.
