North then to Samode (41km), a dilapidated but attractive village of 2000 famous for its lac bangles, Sikar (104km) and Fatehpur (56km), where we visited richly painted merchants houses, known as havelis, and I got butted in the belly by a bull in whose path I unwittingly stood while photographing an impossibly full bus.
